Chairman

Mike Shannon, a semi-retired professional, graduated from Hutch Tech H.S. and Buffalo State University. He earned an M.Ed. from Lincoln University (PA) and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with studies in International Marketing at Wroxton University in Oxford, England. With 34 years of experience in management roles in sales, marketing, training, and finance at major corporations like General Motors, Ryder Systems, Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb, and others in the pharmaceutical industry. He has served as Treasurer and Charter member of various civic organizations, including the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Kiwanis clubs, NAACP, and is a longstanding member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and traveling.

Secretary

Aubrey J. Hutchins Sr. attended Bishop Turner HS. He pursued his basic college classes at Buffalo State University before earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from University of Phoenix. Serving in the USAF for 25 years, he specialized as a Research Analyst and Software Engineer. Transitioning to civilian life, he contributed his expertise to International Gaming Technology (IGT) in both engineering and marketing roles. Additionally, he co-founded The Brotherhood716, where he serves as a board member and secretary. Now retired, he enjoys traveling and exploring new adventures.

Treasurer

Dennis A Wilson Sr. attended Bishop Turner HS, and Buffalo State College (2 years). Twin fair (Retail Management) 13 years, NYS Office Of Child and Family Services (youth counselor), 30 years then retired, also Event Promoter. In his HS years lectured on VD for the Erie County Health Department and Stage Manager, actor, and tv commercials for and with the African Culture Center. Additionally, he co-founded The Brotherhood716.

Sergeant of Arms

Reggie Hutchins, Attended Bishop Turner H.S. and East H.S., found his passion for Electrical/Electronics early. As Vice President of Brown Electrical Workers during his senior year, he oversaw installations and repairs across Buffalo. Transitioning from education to a 22-year career in the United States Navy, he specialized in computerized Guided Missile Systems and Gun Systems, rising to Senior Chief. Now a Project Manager at Akima Systems Engineering, Reggie manages government contracts for shipboard Interior Communication Systems. Outside work, he dedicates time to a weekly food drive, volunteering his truck and trailer. In his free time, Reggie enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and traveling, embracing diverse experiences.

Advisor

Louis Giardino, a Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Maine, followed by Economics studies at St. John Fisher University, Rochester, NY. With over 50 years in construction and real estate, Lou is a fourth-generation industry professional renowned for innovation. He pioneered AutoCAD integration, multimillion-dollar prefabrication, and Geothermal Heating & Cooling in projects. Additionally, he's adept at managing Government Grants and Incentives, totaling millions. Also, an author, avid golfer, Cigar smoker, and storyteller.

Board Member

Vincent Wesley attended Lafayette HS and Buffalo State College, also 15 years of experience as a Metro bus and rail operator, and another 15 years as a case manager at "Saving Grace Ministries," I bring a wealth of expertise. At Walls Memorial AME Zion, I've served in various capacities, including class leader, usher, and steward board member, and I've held the position of president of the lay council. Additionally, I express my creativity as an author, playwright, and poet. Proudly, I've been a member of The Brotherhood716 since its inception.

Board Member

​Durie Burns, a Buffalo State College alum and military veteran, excelled in basketball and track. He starred alongside NBA star Randy Smith, who became his close friend at Buffalo State. Formerly a Special Agent in charge of the Buffalo IRS Criminal Investigation Field Office, Durie is now retired and resides in Orange Park, Florida, where he enjoys golfing and sharing stories.

Alternative

Joe Forrest, a retired airline pilot from Eastern and United Airlines, has a remarkable history. He was the first Black starting quarterback at Pershing High School in Detroit in 1957 and the sole Black graduate of the US Air Force's Experimental Pilot Training Program in 1964. Serving in Vietnam, he flew 86 combat missions in 1969. In 1970, he became the first Black pilot assigned to Atlanta by Eastern Airlines. He also ran for the 6th Congressional District in Georgia in 1990. Now residing in College Park, Georgia, he teaches golf and serves as the General Manager of Palm Resort at Durham Lakes in Fairburn.
